Cameron Chow, Head Coach
Coach Chow enters his first season as the Frosh/Soph head coach. Cameron was a two-sport athlete in football and basketball in Utah but says his passion was always basketball. After years in the broadcast journalism profession, Mr. Chow as most the players know him as decided to enter the field of teaching. When he is not leading our fine freshman class he is an English and Journalism teacher at Mira Costa.

James Roth, Assistant Coach
Asst. Head Coach/Director of Operations: Coach Roth joins the Mustang coaching staff after leading the Frosh/Soph team at Lawndale the last couple of years. A Mira Costa graduate (class of 2008) he brings his passion for training and developing young players to the program. In addition to his Frosh/Soph duties, James fills the invaluable role as our leader in off-season conditioning. When Mira Costa makes fourth quarter comebacks this year you can thank Coach Roth.

Dennis Roth, Assistant Coach
Asst. Coach- Coach Roth brings his wisdom and wit to another Frosh/Soph team again this season. The Frosh/Soph team has seen four coaches in Coach Roth's six-year tenure but he is the mainstay that you can rely on year in and year out. Coach Roth specializes in his strategic talks with referees during halftime and between games. He too is an invaluable member of our coaching staff and is responsible for a lot of the behind the scenes management and supervision.
